Biography

Pam Levine has recently relocated to Las Vegas from New York.
She has a BS in Music from Hunter College in New
York. The course of study included all facets of music including Music
Theory and Harmony, Sight Reading/ Sight Singing, Violin, Piano and
Voice and Music Education. She has also studied violin, piano and voice
privately for many years. Pam played
the violin with the South Shore Symphony in Rockville Centre, NY where
she had been a member from 2000 thru 2011. Prior to that, she has played with
the Merrick Symphony and the Rockaway Five Towns Symphony, both on Long
Island. Here in Las Vegas she plays with the Las Vegas Civic
Orchestra at UNLV and the CSN Symphony Orchestra.
From 1997 thru 2011, Pam was the soprano soloist at St. Marks
United Methodist Church in Rockville Centre, NY and also filled in as
their substitute organist/ pianist, when necessary. Prior to that, she
was soloist at Christ First Presbyterian Church in Hempstead, NY and has
consistently been a soloist at Temple B'nai Sholom in Rockville Centre,
during their High Holy Day Services. She has done extensive choral and
solo work with the Armand Sodero Chorale, the United Chorale Society,
the Hunter College Chamber Choir and the Hunter College Gilbert and
Sullivan Society. She is now a member of the women's chorus at
UNLV.
